Lindsey's career as an artist is complemented by her interest and talent for musical performance. She is a singer, with a focus on traditional folk, americana, bluegrass, and country styles. She plays rhythm guitar, and has dabbled with the mandolin and fiddle. Her public school music education (Chorus and Orchestra) along with music theory courses at Skidmore College, have expanded organically thanks to many nights of picking tunes around the kitchen table, down at the pub, or around the campfire at bluegrass festivals, along with key mentorship from musicians in the Northeast bluegrass community as well as the British folk music community during a period of time living in Edinburgh, Scotland. She currently plays with multiinstrumentalist and songwriter David Sasso, in a Connecticut-based duo called Fyfe & Stone.
